Eligibilty for Admission

As per the rules and regulations of The Tamilnadu Dr M.G.R Medical University, Chennai/ Directorate of Medical Education, Chennai, Government of Tamilnadu, Chennai.

• The candidate shall have passed HSC examination with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Botany & Zoology or Mathematics subjects.
• 40% aggregate marks in the above subjects are mandatory.
• 35% aggregate marks for SC & ST Candidates.
• Vocational stream & National open school certificate is not eligible for admission.
• The candidate should have completed 17 years of age on the date of admission or should complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission
